Episode Overview

BLT asks Michelle to the graduation dance, and she happily agrees. When she introduces him to her parents, they disapprove and forbid her from seeing him, insisting she’s too young to date. Michelle starts to suspect that their reluctance might be tied to BLT’s race. When she confronts her mother about this, her mother insists they are only protecting her. Despite her parents’ objections, Michelle resolves to attend the dance with BLT regardless.
