Lost in Space (1965)

Episode Overview

Will is conducting an experiment inside a cave when he encounters a man who claims to be the "Time Merchant," the one who governs time across the universe. This mysterious figure takes Will, Professor Robinson, Smith, and the Robot to his hidden lair. There, Smith utilizes the Time Merchant's time machine to travel back to Earth on the day the Robinsons left, aiming to avoid disrupting the Jupiter II mission and allowing the family to proceed to Alpha Centauri. However, the Time Merchant warns that if Smith chooses not to board the Jupiter II, the ship will remain on its original course and face destruction from an asteroid months after launch. Consequently, Will is sent back to persuade Smith to join the mission as he originally intended.
