Episode Overview
As the kids navigate the stress of mid-term exams, Screech persuades Mr. B. to host a post-exam celebration, which secretly serves as a surprise for his 10th anniversary. Meanwhile, Ryan, Nicky, and Eric receive a harsh surprise in home economics: they must bake a lemon meringue pie to pass their mid-term. Opting for convenience, they purchase a pie from the Max and submit it, scoring an "A." Impressed, Screech assigns them the task of baking a cake, Mr. Belding's favorite, for the upcoming party. On another front, Maria skips studying with Katie and Rachel when Sean Pierce asks her out. Though she agrees to help him with his Spanish mid-term, her focus drifts to Sean, leading her to leave study sessions early. The boys aim to raise $150 for the cake, claiming it’s a gift for Mr. Belding, and the girls pitch in but have their own plans for him.
