Saved by the Bell: The New Class (1993)

Episode Overview

Nicky lands a job as an usher at the cineplex where Rachel is employed, and Mr. Dimmick, the manager, takes a liking to him. However, it's clear that Dimmick favors guys who can discuss sports and views female staff as inferior. Despite Rachel's hard work all summer, Nicky quickly rises to assistant manager. Ryan agrees with Rachel about Dimmick’s bias, but when he brings it up with Nicky, he seems indifferent. When a projector malfunctions under Nicky’s watch, Rachel steps in to manage the chaos. Dimmick, taking all the credit, inadvertently reveals his bias against women. With Katie’s help, Ryan and Nicky devise a plan to show the visiting vice-president how Dimmick treated Rachel unjustly. As a result, Dimmick is suspended, and Rachel gets reinstated immediately. Meanwhile, Mr. Belding and Screech are up to their own antics in the mall.
