Joanie (Paula Cale) is excitedly organizing baby Hannah's first birthday celebration when she receives delightful news: Ritchie, the baby's dad, will be attending the festivities. However, Joanie is caught off guard when Ritchie arrives with an unexpected companion—his much younger new wife, Kris. In a separate storyline, Syd extends an invitation to Kyle to stay in the guest house as he begins his chemotherapy journey, hoping to support him through this challenging time.
