Episode Overview
Monica is mentoring a newly created Angel, who has yet to receive a name, as she explains the importance of connecting with humans and the joy that comes from helping them find God. The Angel is hesitant, questioning why Monica would choose to remain on Earth after knowing the splendor of God's presence. Monica reveals that she stays because it’s God’s wish and out of love for humanity. However, the Angel struggles to grasp the concept of love. Monica's immediate task is to help the Angel find glasses to improve her vision and swap her celestial attire for human clothing. Once that's done, Monica introduces the Angel to her favorite coffees when a young girl named Madeline approaches. Madeline shares that she's at the business complex with her mother, who is searching for a job. The Angel befriends Madeline, offering to braid her hair, and discovers her name to be "Gloria," inspired by the hymn "Angels We Have Heard on High." Tess notes that Gloria has a unique connection.
