Episode Overview
Cynthia and J.D. visit Diana Winslow, who remains in denial about her son Danny's death. Meanwhile, Monica arrives at the long-term acute care facility where Carter and Lila anxiously wait by their son Joshua's side, who is on life support. Monica hopes to find their other son, Jed, to help Diana recall the events of the tragic night. While Carter has no interest in locating Jed, Lila believes a family reunion might be beneficial. Following Lila's lead, Monica takes J.D. and Cynthia to Memphis in search of Jed. They eventually find him on a street corner, looking unkempt and playing for spare change. Monica urges J.D. to persuade Jed to return to Nashville for healing, suggesting he connect with him through music, despite J.D. feeling uncertain about his ability to reach out.
