Episode Overview

The Winter Siege of Osaka commences as the Tokugawa troops attempt to leverage their numerical superiority, yet Osaka Castle and the Sanada Maru fortification hold strong. Key figures of the Toyotomi clan, including Yukimura Sanda, Keiji Maeda, Kiyomasa Kato, and Masanori Fukushima, fiercely defend their stronghold, refusing to yield ground. As winter sets in, a biting cold drains the morale of both sides. In a tense confrontation, Yukimura faces Kanetsugu Naoe, a former ally turned adversary. Meanwhile, amid the relentless artillery assault on Osaka Castle, Nobuyuki Sanada makes a daring solo effort to broker a truce.
