The Dukes of Hazzard (1979)

Episode Overview

Boss successfully seizes the Duke farm through questionable means, aided by his incompetent cousin, Deputy Cletus Hogg. He also manages to have the Dukes arrested under dubious federal charges. However, Boss soon receives alarming news from his doctor that he may have a terminal illness, with only two weeks to live. To escape his fate, he believes he must atone for his misdeeds by doing good. Just as he starts turning over a new leaf, the doctor reveals that the original diagnosis was a mistake, leaving Boss in high spirits but heartbroken to realize he can't undo the good actions he's already taken.
