The Time Tunnel (1966)

Episode Overview

Tony and Doug find themselves at the legendary Siege of Troy and are brought before Ulysses. Ulysses mistakes them for divine beings, though his lieutenant Sardis remains skeptical. To prove their godlike status, Doug triumphs in a duel against Sardis, prompting Sardis to betray Ulysses and the Greek forces. In the ensuing battle, the duo faces dire straits, leading the Project scientists to dispatch Jiggs with a supply of hand grenades. Doug is captured and tortured, while Jiggs ages drastically during his time in the Tunnel. The scientists manage to reverse his aging but inadvertently bring a Greek soldier to their time. Meanwhile, Tony motivates Ulysses to devise the Trojan Horse. He enters the structure to save Doug, and their plan works. Ulysses defeats Paris and rescues Helen, while Tony saves Doug, and they disappear before the bewildered Greeks.
