A mono epidemic sweeps through the campus, and after Meghan falls ill, Felicity seeks refuge with Elena and Noel to steer clear of the illness. Meanwhile, Felicity is anxious about David not yet having kissed her. During an intimate moment with Ruby, Noel unintentionally mentions Felicity's name, igniting Ruby's anger when she learns they had kept their past relationship a secret. A mysterious stranger hands Ruby a business card, claiming to be a movie producer, and she pursues the opportunity, landing a significant role in a Tom Cruise film. Before she leaves for several weeks, Ruby sleeps with Noel. Ben discovers that Maggie is married.
