Episode Overview
Ben resolves to take a more active role in his child's upbringing, which delights Lauren. However, she has already planned to relocate to Arizona to be closer to her family. Seeking a way to stay involved, Ben consults Professor Hodges about transferring to the University of Arizona. Adam's design triumphs in a contest, prompting Felicity to accept a position in New York to assist him. Hodges informs Ben that the admission deadline has passed, but he can help Ben gain acceptance if he acts quickly. Felicity is hurt that Ben didn’t share his potential move, contemplating turning down her new job. Trevor persuades Ben that Noel is still interested in Felicity. A tearful Felicity confides in Noel about Ben's circumstances, leading to a confrontation when Ben finds them in an embrace. Angered, he accuses Felicity of being the reason for his affair with Lauren, resulting in their breakup. Felicity ultimately decides to join Adam on his project.
