Episode Overview

Ben stands up for Felicity when a rude customer at Dean & DeLuca confronts her. Later, Felicity invites him over to her apartment for a chat, but he hesitates and decides he wants to move on. Meanwhile, Lauren relocates to New York to escape her ex and start anew, prompting Ben to ask her out. Javier attempts to play matchmaker by arranging a meeting at a play for both Felicity and Ben, but it backfires when Ben arrives with Lauren. Felicity gives her ticket to Lauren and leaves in frustration. Elena encourages Felicity to pursue Owen, a teaching assistant, but Felicity asks her friends to stop interfering. Owen tells her she seems too serious and suggests she have some fun, leading her to ask him out. While Ben and Lauren are kissing, her ex-boyfriend calls, prompting Ben to leave but schedule another date. Ben arrives at the girls' apartment to study with Elena just as Owen comes to pick up Felicity.
