Pine Gap (2018)

Episode Overview

In Russia, Oz makes his way down a grand marble staircase in nothing but his tattered white underwear to join his friends for a morning drink. The stunning house around them is the result of their hard work, and it’s payday. After a celebratory round of vodka, the group steps outside for a final photo, but their moment is abruptly shattered when the house explodes behind them, leaving them broke and stranded. Seeking help, they visit the British Embassy, where Oz reconnects with a Geordie acquaintance who informs them about the Overseas Estates Development department, which sends British workers abroad to renovate government properties. As they head home, they brainstorm their application letter: "We are independent contractors with extensive experience, having recently reassembled the Middlesbrough Transporter Bridge in Arizona, arguably one of the most notable erections of late." Although Neville initially declines the chance to join them, a mysterious MI6 agent approaches him with a request to go undercover.
