Tim Okazaki, a teenage skateboarding sensation in Japan, appears to be a gay icon. However, it turns out he’s actually American, using a phony Japanese accent, and his sexuality is a facade. His mother and manager, Jen Okazaki, has expertly crafted his image, promoting him globally with the slogan 'I'm Gay.' At the same time, Blake Oakfield is struggling to maintain his relaxed beach lifestyle as his wife insists he run errands, while the Fennel Hell Men are eager to claim the Mucca Mad Boys' surf spot. Additionally, Daniel is busy planning the ultimate farewell party while trying to keep Nathan from his compulsive habits.
