Ginette Prince, a former judge known for incarcerating many hardened criminals, finds herself in a precarious situation when her house is set ablaze. The police investigate, suspecting that the fire might be an act of revenge. Yet, with Ginette having been retired for several years and the individuals she sentenced no longer posing a risk, the idea of retaliation seems improbable.
