Episode Overview

The boys are feeling sore after having shoved Compo's mother’s gypsy caravan. Meanwhile, Anita Pilsworth continues her pursuit of Clegg. Foggy is honing his camouflage skills and is coaxed into pretending to be a shop-window mannequin, which leads to him surprising Wally. Compo hatches a scheme to assist Wally by dressing up as a gypsy fortune-teller, convincing Nora that she’s destined to marry a "short miserable little nit in an LNER cap." Everything seems to be going smoothly until the caravan unexpectedly rolls away, dragging Compo past the girls and exposing his true identity.
