Episode Overview

Title: Serene Nuptials Plot: Dilys and Brad are tying the knot. The guys ride to the registry office on Compo's vintage motorbike and sidecar, which constantly threatens to tip over. At the celebration, Compo finds himself sitting with his trousers down, covered in oil. Mr. Clegg announces the telegrams, revealing one from Brad's airbase calling him back to service. Later, the group strolls and encounters Foggy, who is on guard at a bridge. He proudly displays his new bayonet but accidentally drops it into the water. Compo is lowered over the edge using Seymour's scarf, falls in, but successfully retrieves the bayonet. The following morning, news breaks of war being declared on Germany.
