Episode Overview
In this episode, the Thorsons set out to pick up Dr. Philip Carlton, a celebrity author known as the "Heart Doctor," who has controversially crossed professional boundaries with his patients. Ricky informs them that Carlton is facing serious allegations of sexual misconduct after coercing a patient. While Ricky suggests that both women could benefit from his counseling, Brandi heads downtown to investigate Carlton, though her mother suspects she’s more interested in seeing Farrell. The duo later visits Carlton's estranged wife, Sharon, who is in a mental health facility. Confused and unresponsive, she mutters cryptic phrases, leading Dottie to connect her words to a house shown in a video made by Carlton, located in Lake Tahoe.
