Pierce is enlisted by the FBI to assist in the investigation of a therapist's murder. Meanwhile, Moretti grows closer to Professor Hathaway, deepening their connection. At the same time, Dean Haley devises a plan to use Pierce as a lure to persuade a wealthy widow of a former alumnus to contribute funds for a new campus building.
