Episode Overview

Sharon finds herself the odd one out in her friend group, surrounded by couples, so she compensates by enthusiastically talking about her charming Italian boyfriend, Marcello. Elated by his visit, she initially enjoys their time together. However, things take a turn as Marcello's European flair doesn't mesh well with North American expectations, making him come off as awkward instead of romantic. Desperate to reignite their spark, Sharon attempts to mold him into a more relatable version. When her efforts backfire, she resorts to avoiding him and even tries to downplay her own appeal. In a last-ditch effort, she enlists the help of 'Dirty Work,' a service run by Adam and his friends for their economics class. Unfortunately, a miscommunication leads Connor to believe Alyson is trying to break up with him, adding to Sharon's chaos.
