Amen (1986)

Episode Overview

A woman leaves her French restaurant to the church members, with the condition that they maintain its thriving business. However, the church soon faces a crisis when the deadline for their balloon mortgage payment approaches, and they struggle to find the funds. To keep the church afloat, they contemplate selling the restaurant, but the will explicitly prohibits them from doing so as long as it remains successful. Faced with this dilemma, the church must find a way to fulfill their financial obligations while adhering to the terms of the estate.
