Episode Overview

Greg and Kim are displeased to learn that Sam's longtime pediatrician has abruptly retired and sold his practice to a new doctor they don’t know. They decide to give Dr. Trabert a chance, but are shocked to find he appears very young, has his wife as his receptionist, and has left his own sick child at home for work. Frustrated, they schedule an appointment with the renowned Dr. Bernstein, misleadingly gaining access to his exclusive patient list. Just as they secure a spot, Sam manages to shove a piece of pasta up his nose, leading to a frantic visit. However, Greg is left waiting as Bernstein deals with other patients. After confronting the doctor about the delay, Jimmy retrieves the pasta himself, prompting Bernstein to dismiss Greg. Despite the incident, Kim insists Greg return to Dr. Bernstein.
