Episode Overview
This Christmas, the Warner household is bustling as Greg's and Kim's parents gather for the holiday. However, things take a turn when a conversation reveals that every child has their favorite grandparents, and Greg realizes that his parents, Tom and Natalie, aren't Sam's top choice. When he notices Sam enjoying time with Don and Jenny, he abruptly pulls Sam away and attempts to engage his parents in fun activities. Unfortunately, Tom and Natalie struggle to connect with the kids, prompting Greg to vent to Kim. She reminds him that it's not Sam's fault. Determined to elevate his parents to 'A' status, Greg challenges Don and Jenny, but they consistently outsmart him. Tensions rise when Don announces a break from tradition by opening gifts on Christmas Eve, leaving Greg fuming when Don and Jenny present gifts to him, Kim, Jimmy, and Christine instead.
