Joyce is taken aback during her visit to a photo exhibition in Luxton Deeping with Tom. Meanwhile, Barnaby witnesses the intense clash between traditional film photographers and digital camera enthusiasts. Tensions escalate dramatically when a member of the local camera club is found brutally strangled. In an unexpected twist, all evidence seems to implicate Barnaby as the prime suspect. Suspended from the force, he, with some covert assistance from Jones, must rely on his investigative skills to uncover the true motive and identify the real killer before another tragedy occurs.
