Episode Overview

Chettham Park House in Midsomer, formerly the residence of Sir William Chettham, has been acquired by businessman Jack Filby to rescue Sir William from impending financial collapse. A longstanding friendship dating back to their university days has led Jack to permit William, along with his mother Elizabeth, wife Isobel, and son Freddy, to continue residing at The Dower House—the estate's smaller dwelling typically reserved for the Baronet's widowed mother. Now, Jack assumes the role of the estate's master, with Freddy serving as his trusted aide.
