Episode Overview

Barnaby chooses to partake in Causton's yearly excursion to Brighton upon growing suspicious of the mayor's intentions to acquire coastal land for holiday homes. However, before he can investigate the shady transaction, a notorious property developer is found decapitated at a funfair, and a set of priceless historical swords goes missing. Teaming up with his cousin DCI John Barnaby, the detective embarks on a quest to solve the mystery. Featuring guest appearances by Neil Dudgeon (Roman's Empire), Mark Gatiss (The League of Gentlemen), Coronation Street's Brian Capron, and Tim McInnerny from Blackadder.
