Kolchak: The Night Stalker (1974)

Episode Overview

Conductor Ryder Bond finds himself haunted by a string of bizarre deaths, each victim consumed by otherworldly flames. As Kolchak delves into the mystery, he uncovers that Frankie Markoff, an arsonist and avid admirer of Bond, was killed in a penny arcade. During Markoff's funeral, his spirit inadvertently merged with Bond, creating a "doppelganger" intent on seizing control of Bond's life. The victims all perished in their sleep, and if Bond succumbs, the doppelganger will fully take over. Kolchak races against time to unearth Markoff’s body and reunite it with his restless spirit before he too meets a fiery fate.
