Episode Overview

Thoby Young is the final host among his group, and the others have heard him rave about his culinary expertise throughout the week. Now, it’s time for him to deliver a meal that lives up to his words—nobody wants another lengthy lecture at the dinner table. As an ethical foodie, Thoby believes that understanding the origins of his ingredients will enhance the dining experience. He plans to serve buckwheat blinis topped with smoked salmon and ethically sourced caviar as an appetizer, followed by osso bucco with risotto bianco for the main course, and Mr. Tarty's blackberry and apple tart for dessert, along with a surprise for after. As dinner unfolds, discussions about food ethics resurface. Thoby anticipates Mr. Tarty's dessert will steal the spotlight, but he soon discovers who will take home the £1,000 prize.
