Episode Overview

Kicking off the dinner party is stay-at-home mom Lydia Jones, who has chosen to tackle some French dishes she’s struggled with in the past. Her guests’ reactions are less than enthusiastic: dental nurse Donna is puzzled about what a canard is, hairdresser Marcello mistakenly believes Lydia is serving grated toast, and artist Anthony seems baffled by each dish. As the night progresses, Ramsgate's 'most stylish man,' Marcello, doesn’t hold back, making sharp remarks about everyone’s looks. Will Lydia be able to mend the awkwardness with her French cuisine, or will tensions escalate by the end of the evening?
