Episode Overview
Kicking off the competition is the chic insurance agent Zoe Prince, who has planned an Italian-inspired feast, despite lacking Italian roots or ever visiting the country. However, her culinary skills might not face much scrutiny, as her fellow diners seem clueless about authentic dishes. As Zoe juggles her menu, she quickly realizes that her guests are quite a handful. The men are more curious about whether Zoe is a model or a pole dancer than her cooking abilities. Tensions rise when chip shop owner Martyn Bilby tries to hold hands with the aloof Signe Jase. Meanwhile, perfectionist Tracey Hewer, who works in trading standards, is already unsettled by the sound of Zoe’s cat, Tito, and her strict standards for food presentation. Will Zoe manage to unite her guests and distract them from critiquing her less-than-perfect cutlery long enough to earn a decent score?
