Episode Overview

In Norwich, the latest episode of Come Dine With Me kicks off with MA student and part-time waitress Miranda Robinson as the first host. Sporting her signature high heels and short skirts, Miranda insists that beneath her glamorous exterior lies a sharp intellect. She aims to wow her guests with a sophisticated starter of Escargot de Bourgogne, though not everyone is eager to try it. Fussy chip van owner Cheryl Pennell is particularly reluctant to sample what she deems "foreign muck." On the other hand, house music producer Danny Bond, aka DJ Gadget Man, is a fan of perfectly cooked snails, as long as they aren’t rubbery. The main course, sea bass with roasted vegetables, is more palatable, but local radio DJ Dave Webster is hoping for a bone-free experience. Also at the table is self-proclaimed know-it-all Amy Nicholson, who seizes the chance to showcase her smarts when the conversation shifts to Miranda's ostentatious word-wall.
