In West Yorkshire, the latest cook-off kicks off with 50-year-old, straightforward healthcare worker Bev Stewart at the helm. Her menu features fish fingers, meat and potato pie, and jelly with ice cream. Hair salon owner Rebecca can't stand fish fingers, while computer network engineer Adam thinks a meat and potato pie lacks flair. Sales advisor Philomena has a strong dislike for ice cream, and business owner Charlie mistakenly assumes the host is a male school teacher. To create a festive atmosphere, Bev plans activities like an apple bobbing contest, but as conflicts arise among the guests, the playful spirit quickly fades and tensions reminiscent of schoolyard drama take over.
