Chris and Rita look into the murder of a surgeon who was killed with a scalpel. All signs point to a fellow doctor who lost a promotion to the victim. At the same time, Chris reconnects with his longtime friends Howie and Tina. Meanwhile, Lorenzo finds himself developing feelings for Tina, but there's a complication—she's married to his buddy Howie.
