Chris' mother accidentally overlooks his lake trip and assigns him to assist his Great Aunt Isabel with yard work over the weekend. Superbook whisks Chris, Joy, and Gizmo away to meet someone who sacrificed everything out of love for her family. They encounter Ruth, a young widow from Moab, who is left to care for her mother-in-law, Naomi. Just when things seem tough, a compassionate relative arrives and transforms their lives in ways they could never have anticipated.
