In a distant future on Pluto, the planet has been transformed into a habitable world, encircled by synthetic suns created by a greedy corporation that mercilessly exploits the displaced human laborers. The Doctor, Leela, and K9 land on this strange planet and quickly form a bond with a hapless drone worker. However, their new friend’s safety is at stake, and they must escape to the shadowy depths of the undercity to evade the corporate overlords.
