The Doctor and companions find themselves ensnared in a never-ending time loop, forced to experience the same event repeatedly. Meanwhile, the cunning Meglos, masquerading as the Doctor, manipulates the Tigellans, earning their trust and gaining exclusive entry to their energy facility. As the TARDIS crew struggles to break free from their temporal prison, Meglos plots to exploit the Tigellans' power for his own sinister agenda.
