Episode Overview

On Halloween, celebrated writer Leonard Pound is engulfed in sorrow over the recent passing of his wife. Concerned for his father, Allan hires Monica to support the despondent widower, who seems to have lost his desire to carry on. To aid him, the angel encourages Leonard to reflect on a significant moment from his past: October 30, 1938, the evening of Orson Welles' famous radio adaptation of The War of the Worlds.
