Episode Overview

Judd faces constant setbacks in his quest to break into the cartooning world until he receives an opportunity to pitch his concept in Hollywood. Meanwhile, Mo is busy with his band but gets into a heated debate with Puck over rap music. Just as Judd begins to deepen his connection with Pam, her boyfriend, Chris, unexpectedly shows up in town. At the Bammie Awards—akin to the "Grammys" for the Bay Area—the roommates admire rock stars while Mo network for his band. They all attend Mo's performance at the Gavin Convention, and after a second visit to the San Francisco Examiner, Judd lands a job as their weekly cartoonist.
