Episode Overview
Claude hatches another wild idea and tells Vint about a lucrative opportunity that could earn him $1,600, with Claude pocketing a $400 finder's fee. The plan involves Vint marrying a girl from Portugal who needs a green card to remain in the U.S. The scheme accidentally comes to light when Mr. Costa and Zenada make an unexpected visit, revealing that Zenada will need to stay with the family for a few days to make the marriage appear genuine. Mama, of course, flatly refuses to let that happen. While Mama is outside gathering laundry, Naomi stops by to vent about the sap from Mama’s tree ruining her car. After Mama shares the marriage plan, Naomi warns her how illegal it is, citing a segment she saw on 60 Minutes, explaining that Vint could face felony charges for a fraudulent marriage.
