Mama's Family (1983)

Episode Overview

The whole family is caught up in Lotto excitement, except for Mama, who is more focused on getting Iola to bring back the cinnamon so they can whip up snickerdoodles for the church bake sale. When Iola shows up with a lottery ticket purchased using Mama's change, Mama suggests she could use her children's birthdays as numbers. On drawing night, Bubba and Naomi each hold two tickets, while Vint has splurged his entire paycheck on them. To everyone's astonishment, Iola matches all six numbers and earns the opportunity to appear on the Lotto Show.
