Mama's Family (1983)

Episode Overview

Naomi is thrilled to learn she has an interview for the Assistant Manager position at Food Circus, now open after the new manager, Archie Woods, took charge and dismissed the previous Assistant Manager. However, Vint is concerned that if she lands the job, she might never be at home. When Naomi goes in for the interview, she’s excited to share her innovative ideas for the store. However, she quickly realizes there are unexpected requirements she hadn’t anticipated, including the unsettling notion that she might need to engage with Mr. Woods to secure the promotion—or even keep her current cashier position. Shocked, she struggles to convey the situation to Mama and Iola.
