While walking one day, Momose and Shirosaki discover a frightened kitten abandoned in a cardboard box by the roadside. Initially wary of Shirosaki, the kitten begins to warm up to him thanks to his kind demeanor. After deciding to bring the kitten home, Shirosaki faces the challenge of naming his new companion. Reflecting on his childhood, he recalls a moment when he mistakenly thought a tanuki was a stray cat and the name he and his grandmother chose for it. What will he ultimately name the kitten?
