Serena and Dan come to terms with their deep feelings for one another, even though their backgrounds are completely different. Meanwhile, Chuck contemplates pouring his money into a club, hoping to earn his father Bart Bass's approval. Nate faces off with his dad about the drugs he discovered at home, but his father refuses to acknowledge any issues. Jenny stumbles upon a hidden truth that her parents have been concealing from her. In the end, Blair is heartbroken when Jenny discloses that Nate accidentally kissed her, mistaking her for Serena.
