In a bid to save the rugby team from being disbanded, Sousuke and Kaname step in to prepare them for an exhibition game against a rival school. Realizing that the players lack confidence and aggression, Sousuke puts them through an intense training regimen, pushing them to their limits. His harsh methods ultimately lead to their victory in the match. The way Sousuke trains the team—by yelling and putting them through tough challenges—echoes scenes from Full Metal Jacket, as he strives to harden them for the competition.
