Kaname challenges Agent Wraith regarding Sousuke's absence, but just as she’s on the verge of getting some clarity, Xia Yu Lan launches a surprise attack on them. Kaname manages to outsmart her attacker, but the situation escalates when Leonard Testarossa, Tessa's brother and another Amalgam agent, arrives on the scene and eliminates Xia Yu Lan. He discloses that the assassin was acting independently and not in alignment with Amalgam’s objectives.
