Mark prays for God to turn Jonathan into a cop temporarily. After 40 years, Jonathan becomes human, only to confront the difficult truths of police work. He assists an officer grappling with guilt over shooting a teenager who was armed with an unloaded gun. When the officer takes hostages in his turmoil, the father of the deceased teenager steps forward to explain why there were no bullets in his son’s gun, shedding light on the tragic misunderstanding.
