After returning from her trip to Amsterdam, Mrs. Palmer reveals to Gemma that she has been in a relationship with her boyfriend, Howard, for the past two years. Gemma is disturbed not only by the news about Howard but also by a challenging day at her new job. Seeking comfort, she visits Danny, who is taken aback to find out that her visit was solely for a hug.
