Marcella finally takes her driving test and ends up going on a date with her instructor, Jon. Meanwhile, she accidentally walks in on her flatmate Caroline berating her boyfriend Mark by calling him a filthy rat during their intimate moments. To make matters worse, Marcella stumbles upon her ex, Simon, caught in a rather awkward situation.
