Overview

Descending is an exhilarating weekly series now broadcasting on Canada’s Outdoor Life Network, showcasing breathtaking underwater footage from around the globe. Host Scott Wilson, a newcomer to scuba diving from Brantford, Ontario, eagerly dives into the exploration of some of Earth’s most isolated locations during the hour-long episodes. Recognizing that much of our planet lies beneath the waves and is rarely seen, he emphasizes the need for stunning visuals. Joining him is co-host Ellis Emmett, a New Zealand diver, author, and adventurer who runs a river rafting business. Emmett aims to inspire, educate, and entertain viewers, bringing some laughter along the way. This season, the duo explores the depths in full-face masks and dry suits, with plans for rebreathers and mixed gases in future episodes.
